Senior PHP Technical Lead
Job Description
About TORQ: Company Overview
TORQ is a North American digital solutions partner specializing in scalable eCommerce, product data infrastructure, and custom development services.
With deep expertise in Pimcore, Shopware, and modern data architecture, we help organizations unify and operationalize their product content, digital assets, ecommerce, and transactional systems. Our fully onshore team architects and delivers solutions on enterprise-grade platforms that power seamless digital experiences, drive operational efficiency, and support long-term growth. Whether you're building a centralized PIM/DAM foundation, launching a high-performance eCommerce site, or integrating legacy systems, TORQ delivers the technical precision and flexibility to make it happen.
Our Passion: At TORQ, we exist to make our clients’ lives better — by simplifying complexity, delivering measurable outcomes, focusing on the ROI of our clients, and building long-term digital foundations that grow with their business.
Our Niche: We’re the go-to implementation partner for commerce and data platforms — especially Pimcore, Shopware, and the custom integrations that connect them to the broader enterprise ecosystem.
Our Core Values
- We Act with Purpose – We prioritize traction and results in every initiative, keeping projects focused on delivering real business value.
- Continuous Improvement – We iterate, learn, and refine — always raising the bar.

- Professional – We bring clarity, consistency, and respect to every engagement.
We are North America’s top Pimcore implementation partner and a leading implementation partner for Shopware. We would love to help you with any of your digital needs or show you how we can help take your business to the next level with our PIM and Ecommerce Solutions.
Role Summary
As a Senior PHP Technical Lead, you are expected to become an expert on Implementing and extending one of our Data or Ecommerce Platforms in PHP and Symfony. Working on multiple projects for clients ranging from enterprise to startup scale, talking to clients to understand requirements and deliver progress, developing in the frontend and backend, reviewing Pull Requests, or identifying improvements to the efficiency of all projects.

You will understand platform-first solutions like using the configuration tools, core plugins, and low-code / extension options provided by the platform. You may deliver custom User Interfaces in HTML templates (Twig), React.js, TypeScript, or others depending on project requirements.
