Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join the methodology team, focusing on backend systems for high-volume data processing and event-driven integrations in a remote environment.

##### Key responsibilities

Design, implement, scale, and maintain backend systems that process large volumes of data

Work on event-driven and API-based integrations while contributing to migration efforts toward a more domain-based architecture

Collaborate with data science and engineering colleagues to investigate technical problems and propose solutions

##### Required qualifications

10+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong technical depth

Proficient in Java, with experience in Python and/or PySpark

Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and Big O notation

Experience with heavy data processing tools such as Spark, Kafka, and the Apache ecosystem

Familiarity with Docker, SQL, NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations
