**Korero mo te turanga - About the role**

This is a senior architecture role where you will provide technical leadership and design solution architectures that bring the target state vision to life. Working in a dynamic environment, you will balance strategic intent with pragmatic delivery, ensuring the right architecture runway is in place to support downstream teams.

You will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to design innovative, scalable solutions that address enterprise needs across both existing and emerging technology landscapes. From options analysis through to solution design and governance, you will play a critical role in enabling reliable, integrated processes that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Your key responsibilities include

• Lead end to end solution design aligned to target state architecture
• Produce options analysis, solution concepts and architecture artefacts that enable informed decision making
• Identify and embed non functional requirements in designs to ensure quality, resilience and performance
• Contribute to and uphold architecture governance, standards and patterns
• Develop and socialise roadmaps, reference architectures and transitional states
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across architecture and engineering practices

As a seasoned Solution Architect, you combine strategic thinking with hands on pragmatism. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority and translating complex technical concepts into language that resonates with diverse audiences.

You bring strong enterprise awareness and a natural ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams. You are calm under pressure, commercially astute and motivated by delivering better outcomes through smart, integrated solutions.

You'll combine that with

• Proven experience designing enterprise scale solution architectures in complex environments
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, patterns and repository management
• Experience working within agile delivery models and planning architecture runway
• Ability to identify and assure non-functional requirements across security, integration, data and infrastructure domains
• Demonstrated capability influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, practical language tailored to both technical and non technical audiences, enabling confident decision making
• A collaborative, curious mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively
