APPLICANTS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY SERVED AS AN AMERICORPS MEMBER OR PEACECORPS MEMBER PRIOR TO APPLYING The Ohio Association of Foodbanks is Ohio's largest charitable response to hunger. By serving as a VISTA Leader with us, you'd have a core impact on our work to support 12 member foodbanks, 3,300 hunger relief agencies, and a statewide network of AmeriCorps VISTA members. You will support our members as they work to fight poverty and hunger through a variety of programs and strategies, including promoting financial literacy, implementing improved technology, increasing access to community health care, and providing summer meals to low-income children. Member Duties : APPLICANTS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY SERVED AS AN AMERICORPS MEMBER OR PEACECORPS MEMBER PRIOR TO APPLYING Empower ShareCorps VISTA members as they address poverty across Ohio! As our VISTA Leader, you will enhance the member experience and showcase the widespread impact of our program on social media. By increasing access to essential resources, you will ensure that members are equipped to make the most of their term and effectively transition into life post-service. Spearheading member recognition, providing professional development, and facilitating reflection, you will create a member experience that inspires lifelong civic engagement. You will also increase the visibility of ShareCorps's impact, demonstrating its worth addressing poverty and promoting workforce development. Finally, you will deepen our cohort members' solidarity within a larger movement of service. Driving engagement and collaboration, you will boost member effectiveness and grow ShareCorps's reach.
