**What You'll Do**

  • Work cross functionally with design and reliability engineering team to design, optimize, and validate SiC-based power devices (e.g., MOSFETs, JFETs, diodes) for high voltage applications
  • Understand epitaxial growth process development and characterization for SiC wafers, ensuring defect density, doping uniformity, and layer thickness precision
  • Develop and execute device reliability testing protocols (e.g., TDDB, HCI, thermal cycling) to meet industry standards (AEC-Q, JEDEC)
  • Collaborate with external process engineers to integrate SiC die into packaging solutions, ensuring performance in harsh environments
  • Analyze device failure modes and provide root-cause resolution to improve yield and lifetime
  • Work with manufacturers on component development and lead resolutions to achieve mass production
  • Spearhead Root cause analysis and permanent countermeasures with the manufacturer, cross functional team of engineers, GSMs and QE with appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Monitor the supplier’s yield very minutely and take appropriate actions to predict and resolve excursions
  • Audit, assess and oversee equipment performance & monitor implemented process controls at several suppliers
  • Assess Supplier’s PFMEA and manufacturing process controls and drive continuous improvement
