Working remotely, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will manage the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS, optimize application performance, and enhance developer experience through improved CI/CD pipelines.

##### Key responsibilities

Share responsibility for the reliability and performance of production services, proactively identifying and resolving issues

Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets, using data to inform reliability decisions

Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize application and database performance, refactoring code and infrastructure as needed

##### Required qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles managing infrastructure

Deep experience with Heroku and AWS applications

Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically with Terraform

Hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions

Strong coding skills, with experience in diagnosing and fixing performance issues in a Ruby on Rails environment
