**What to Expect**

Join Tesla's insurance accounting team to apply U.S. GAAP principles to Property & Casualty operations, with statutory-basis accounting as needed. You'll ensure accurate, on-time close processes and financial reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

**What You'll Do**

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles through effective planning and issue resolution
• Design, document, and execute internal controls for reliable financial reporting
• Perform complex accounting: multi-entity consolidations, GAAP to STAT adjustments, and working with large data sets
• Leverage and reconcile data across multiple financial systems
• Identify and lead system enhancements; provide actionable feedback to IT
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders on projects and process improvements

**What You'll Bring**

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of public accounting or industry experience (P&C insurance preferred)
• Advanced Excel
• SQL literacy for data validation and ad-hoc analysis
• Ability to automate manual, repetitive tasks
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, analytical, and an excellent communicator
