**Store Manager – Hell Pizza**
Looking for a motivated and experienced **Store Manager** to oversee the daily operations of our pizza store. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our products meet brand standards, leading a high‑performing team, and driving the overall success of the store. **Key Responsibilities**
**Staff Management**
- Ensure all staff follow brand standards, policies, and professional conduct.
- Manage staffing levels and labour costs to maintain profitability and service quality.
- Build a positive, fun, and productive team culture with incentives and performance initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and customer service.
- Delegate cleaning and operational tasks, leading by example.
- Train staff thoroughly and track progress using the Hell Training Tracker.
- Continuously upskill team members and maintain strong staffing resources.
- Create and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage.
- Keep employee records accurate and compliant with legislation.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and apply pay adjustments where appropriate.
- Manage disciplinary processes when required.
**Marketing & Promotions**
- Develop local marketing and advertising plans based on community demographics and opportunities.
- Adjust product mix and pricing to support promotions, increase sales, and improve profitability.
- Execute local marketing activities and national Hell promotions to a high standard.
- Generate ideas for sales growth and implement them as needed.
- Track marketing results and use insights to improve future campaigns.
**Financial Management**
- Complete daily reconciliation of takings.
- Manage cash handling, counting, and banking.
- Maintain accurate sales and cost records and monitor profitability.
- Prepare and review store budgets and report performance to the franchise owner.
**Stock Control**
- Manage stock levels efficiently to minimise costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure adequate stock is available without over‑ordering.
- Review stock levels regularly and adjust orders as needed.
- Minimise wastage and ensure correct portioning and topping standards are followed.
**Service Management**
- Train staff to prepare and cook products to brand standards.
- Oversee order flow, wait times, and delivery performance to ensure fast, accurate service.
- Monitor service metrics and identify areas for improvement.
**Customer Service**
- Review service standards regularly and implement improvements.
- Ensure staff serve customers promptly, politely, and knowledgeably in‑store and over the phone.
- Encourage upselling and promotion of specials.
- Communicate allergen information accurately.
- Handle order changes, customer concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Record complaints and provide feedback to the team.
- Respond to customer feedback through MyHell Hole.
**Health & Safety**
- Ensure all Health & Safety and food safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain high hygiene standards and comply with council and head office requirements.
- Create and maintain the store’s Food Control Plan.
**Administration & General Duties**
- Complete administrative tasks as required.
- Assist with hands‑on duties such as pizza making, customer service, cleaning, and prep work.
- Ensure cleaning rosters are followed.
- Maintain professional behaviour aligned with brand policies.
- Prioritise workload effectively and support a positive workplace culture.
- Follow all employment obligations and instructions.
- Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety.
**Skills, Experience & Education**
- Minimum of **three years’ relevant experience**, plus a **relevant Level 4+ qualification**
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and operational focus.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to multitask.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Physically fit (role involves frequent standing and walking).
- Able to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- A good sense of humour is a bonus.
