We’re excited to be opening a brand new **Chemist Warehouse** store in Napier and are looking for a reliable, hardworking **full-time Storeperson** to join our team.

This is a **pivotal role within our Inwards Goods team**, ensuring stock flows efficiently from delivery through to the shop floor. If you’re physically able to undertake some heavy lifting, organised, and take pride in maintaining a safe and tidy workspace, this is your opportunity to play a key part in a fast-paced retail environment from day one.

**Job Description**

As our Storeperson, you’ll be responsible for keeping our stockroom running smoothly and safely. Your duties will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Unloading stock, including heavy cartons
• Lifting and moving stock safely and efficiently
• Using ladders to store and retrieve stock
• Organising and maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy storeroom
• Assisting with stock replenishment to the shop floor
• Following workplace health and safety procedures

This full-time role is essential to the daily success of the store and requires someone who can work efficiently, take ownership, and contribute positively to the wider team.

**What We're Looking For**

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
• Strong attention to detail when checking deliveries
• Ability to maintain a highly organised and safe stockroom
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety

Previous experience in warehousing, inwards goods, or retail stock control is highly regarded but not essential.

**Certifications**

S2 & S3 trained applicants highly regarded

Certificates I - III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded
