Summer Internship - Electrical Engineering Student - Auckland

We are looking for two motivated Electrical Engineering Interns to join our team for the 2026/2027 Summer Internship Programme . One located in Auckland and the other opportunity is in Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience, work alongside experienced engineers, and contribute to real-world projects that help power New Zealand.

Do you have what it takes to succeed?

You should

Be currently studying towards a Washington Accord-accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree or similar qualification

Have completed at least your second year of study (preferred)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

An eye for detail and the ability to use your initiative

A willingness to learn and contribute to project work

The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

A genuine interest in the electricity and energy sector

A passion for engineering
