**The Role**

TCS seek a **Supplier Quality Engineer** to support a key strategic client in the Lifesciences space.

Our client offers unparalleled breadth and depth of products, services and programs in the areas of joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, sports medicine, neurological, craniomaxillofacial, power tools and biomaterials. With a focus on activating insights to develop innovative, comprehensive solutions, they are inspired to advance patient care in greater ways than either company could accomplish on its own.

**Your Responsibilities:**

• Plan, lead and document supplier and CDP audits and assessments (onsite and remote) to ensure compliance with regulations, agreements, standards and processes (some travel required for onsite audits).
• Record and manage supplier non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, and supplier corrections.
• Define, execute, and own supplier/CDP change requests.
• Apply a risk-based approach to supplier/CDP categorization and onboarding.
• Lead supplier/CDP risk assessments and develop associated mitigation plans.
• Prepare, execute, and maintain Quality Agreements with suppliers and CDPs.
• Advise stakeholders on purchasing controls requirements and their application.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Delivery, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs and wider Commercial Quality colleagues.
• Administer Approved Supplier List, Approved Distributor List, and audit schedules.
• Collect, document and analyse quality metric data.
• Support Commercial Quality initiatives, including simplification and optimization of purchasing control processes.
• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, act as the voice of Supplier Quality, providing guidance with a solution driven mindset.
• Lead additional activities as needed to support supplier and CDP lifecycle management.

**Your Profile**

**Essential skills/knowledge/experience:**

• Solid relevant experience.
• Auditor qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn compliance systems and electronic platforms quickly.

**Desirable** **skills/knowledge/experience:**

• University/bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Support **Commercial and Delivery teams** in managing **suppliers and Commercial Distributor Partners (CDPs)**.
• Oversee the **full partner lifecycle**: onboarding, periodic assessments, performance management, and maintenance.
• **Lead disengagement activities** when required to ensure quality, compliance, and smooth transitions.
• Drive project and resource management to meet required timelines.
• Assign tasks, mentor career development, and manage scheduling/time‑off.
