Team Lead Occupational Therapist (Community Inpatient Rehabilitation)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical leadership and act as a professional role model within the MDT.
• Work autonomously, ensuring accountability for personal and delegated clinical tasks.
• Develop and implement service strategies and clinical standard operating procedures.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external networks.
• Represent the team at Trust-wide and strategic meetings.
• Oversee the planning and prioritisation of patient care within the inpatient setting.
• Ensure high standards of clinical practice, developing and evaluating guidelines and procedures.
• Provide specialist clinical interventions and manage a complex caseload.
• Use outcome measures to assess treatment effectiveness.
• Actively contribute to the education and supervision of staff and students.
• Lead service development initiatives, including audits and research projects.
• Manage HR functions such as recruitment, appraisals, and absence management within the team.
