**The role:**

AML Technology is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for the AML Tech Data Development Team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be involved in projects, BAU, and technical initiatives. You must be proactive and dynamic, demonstrate initiative, have an eagerness to learn, be adaptable to a high-paced environment, and thrive on challenge.

**Is this role right for you? In this role you will:**

• Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional and non-functional requirements and determining high level work efforts
• Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders and translate those to technical requirements for the developers
• Help improve and drive best practices by providing valuable inputs and suggestions as to what works well and what can be done better
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by information sharing and team cooperation

**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:**

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a challenging IT system solution environment.
• Comfortable with relational databases, SQL Queries, data mappings and data analysis
• Ideally, you have an Engineering or Computer Science degree with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the FI and Banking sector, ideally with /AML experience, knowledge of Hadoop, Google Cloud Services, Agile and DevOps team experience
