Technical & QC / Production Support

About the role

Working closely with Production, Technical, H&S and Management teams, you will help ensure our systems, processes and people meet the required standards. This is a practical role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, working with people, solving problems and making sure we consistently produce a safe, legal and high-quality product.

Key responsibilities

Providing hands-on technical and quality support to Production

Monitoring production processes and helping identify and resolve quality issues

Supporting food safety, HACCP and quality requirements

Ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and internal quality specifications

Conducting inspections, checks, investigations and follow-up actions

Supporting H&S initiatives and safe working practices across production

Delivering practical training and coaching to employees

Supporting investigations into incidents, complaints, non-conformances and quality issues to reach the root cause and measures to prevent recurrence.

Ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed and effective

Maintaining accurate technical, quality, compliance and training records

About you

Experienced in food manufacturing, quality, technical or compliance

Ability to work in a team situation or independently

Confident working directly with production employees

Practical, approachable and willing to get involved on the factory floor

Strong on food safety and quality

Knowledgeable about HACCP and manufacturing requirements

Comfortable with H&S responsibilities and risk management

A confident trainer and communicator

Able to investigate problems, reach the root cause and find practical solutions

Highly organised with good attention to detail
