About the Role
Winstone Wallboards is looking for a proactive and organised Transport Administrator to join our distribution team in Onehunga. Reporting to the DTS Auckland Transport Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our transport operation and helping ensure products move efficiently to customers across New Zealand.
This varied role combines transport administration, pallet management, invoicing and operational support. Key responsibilities include scheduling pallet collections and returns, processing JDE invoicing, supplier set up, purchasing consumables, maintaining accurate records and supporting transport reporting and day-to-day distribution activities. Working closely with transport providers, supervisors and operational teams, you'll help drive service excellence, accuracy and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
About You
You're an organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working in a busy operational environment. You can manage multiple priorities, build positive working relationships and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics, distribution or manufacturing
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confidence working with systems and data, including Microsoft Office applications
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, customer-focused approach
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
