Job Description
The Ebbett Dealership Group is one of the largest automotive retailers in New Zealand and has been a trusted name in the automotive business since 1928.
Our dealership is experiencing substantial growth across all brands and we are now searching for a Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our highly driven team here in Pukekohe! We are looking for candidates with a track record of success in vehicle sales, who understand the importance of maximizing profitability and sales, and successfully demonstrate the skills and drive to make things happen.
About the Role:
As a Vehicle Sales Consultant, you will
- Deliver outstanding customer service from first enquiry through to vehicle delivery
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Manage enquiries, follow up leads, and consistently close sales
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely communication throughout the sales process
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Service, and Administration teams to exceed targets
- Use Autoplay CRM to manage customer enquiries, test drives, follow-ups, and sales activities
- About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Proven automotive sales experience - Ideally within new vehicle franchise
- High sales achiever with confident negotiation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Self-motivated with a high level of personal accountability
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence with technology, sales systems and digital platforms
- The ability to work in a team environment
