The Role:

Fit, assemble and weld metal parts and sub-assemblies to fabricate equipment and components

Fabricate, modify and repair structural steel and other metal products and structures

Read and interpret engineering drawings, measure, cut, drill, grind and prepare materials

Perform welding and fabrication work to a high standard, ensuring quality and accuracy

Follow all health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

What you'll need to succeed

Relevant welding/fabrication qualification or trade certification

Previous experience in the engineering or construction industries

Site work experience and prepare to stay away from time to time

Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices.

Have good communication skills

Weld to GTAW, FCAW and MMAW standards

Are able to interpret technical drawings

A current NZ driver's licence would be advantageous
