Job Description

A&N Lawn Service Inc. is seeking five dependable and hardworking individuals to join our winter snow and ice and storm management team from December 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. In this position you will be responsible for keeping sidewalks, walkways, steps, and entry areas clear and safe during snow and ice events, storm management including tree/limb removal during snow and ice events.

Specifically Responsible for

*Operate snow removal equipment such as snow blowers, skid steers, and plow trucks to clear driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks.
*Apply calcium or other ice melt products, sand to prevent slippery conditions
*Operate hand tools as needed (shovels, rakes, pruning shears) and power tools.
*Perform winter pruning, tree wrapping , and other seasonal plant protection tasks.
*Assist with off-season landscaping projects such as hardscape repairs, Holiday tree set up and clean up, equipment maintenance, and site clean-up.
*Maintain safe and efficient work practices during winter weather conditions
*Follow assigned routes and complete work in a timely manner
*Report any property hazards or concerns to supervisors
*Work outdoors in varying winter weather conditions, often starting early mornings or working evenings during snow events.

Must be able to

*Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly
*Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions
*Must be reliable and available during snow events, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Prior snow removal experience is a plus, but not required

Requirements

*Valid driver’s license is preferred, but not required
*Reliable transportation to and from our shop
*Strong work ethic and attention to detail
*Ability to respond promptly when called in for snow events
