Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 7am to 3:30pm

About the role
As a Workshop Technician you will focus on maintaining and repairing pumps and rotating equipment. Your knowledge and skills will be instrumental in keeping our clients' critical machinery running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, strip, inspect, and rebuild various types of pumps and rotating equipment.
Conduct routine and emergency repairs on pump systems and components.
Perform mechanical and hydraulic testing to ensure equipment meets performance specifications.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Liaise with internal teams and occasionally with clients to ensure service expectations are met.
Provide technical input and support to the sales and service teams.
Comply with all company and regulatory health and safety standards.
Participate in safety briefings and contribute to a safe working culture.
About You
Trade qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience in pump servicing, rotating equipment, or similar mechanical systems.
Basic machining and welding skills are desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Forklift license (preferred).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
