Business Development ManagerSalary: £40,000 - £50,000Commission: 10% commission on gross profit generated A growing IT infrastructure and network services provider is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK market. This is a true hunter role focused on generating opportunities, building relationships and winning new business across infrastructure, networking and technical support services. The business is specifically looking for someone with a background in IT infrastructure or technical services rather than SaaS or software sales. What you'll be doing:Generate new business opportunities across the IT infrastructure and networking marketBuild relationships with IT leaders, procurement teams and technical decision makersAttend trade shows, networking events and industry meetingsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closeSell infrastructure, networking and technical support services across a broad client baseBuild and manage your own pipeline and commercial activityWork closely with leadership on growth strategy and market opportunitiesSupport and guide a small internal commercial team What you'll need:Proven experience in a hunter-style Business Development roleBackground in IT infrastructure, networking, telecoms, cabling or technical services salesExperience selling services rather than SaaS or software platformsStrong networking and relationship-building skillsComfortable generating opportunities through both outbound activity and face-to-face engagementCommercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop opportunitiesAbility to work autonomously in a remote environment Location: Remote with travel (all travel expensed)Office Requirement: Birmingham office once per month This role would suit someone from an infrastructure or technical services background who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities and operating in a true new business environment.
