Sales & Business Development Intern / Part-time – Multilingual Markets

Location: Queen Street, Auckland

Type: Internship (Outstanding performers may be offered a part-time or full-time position)

Open to: Undergraduate & postgraduate students (no prior experience required)

Language Requirements

• Mandarin Chinese is required, together with proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
• Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia)
• Hindi
• Vietnamese
• Malay (Bahasa Melayu)
• Candidates with multilingual or cross-cultural communication experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through online and offline channels; assist in marketing and promotional activities
• Training Participation: Learn financial markets, FX fundamentals, trading strategies, platform operations, and risk control
• Client Relationship Management: Respond to client enquiries professionally and assist in maintaining long-term client relationships across different language and cultural backgrounds
• Market Analysis & Feedback: Gather client needs and market trends and support product/service optimisation
• Goal Execution: Set and achieve personal targets while developing sales and financial market skills

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent or professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Indonesian, Hindi, Vietnamese, or Malay
• Strong motivation for earning and self-development
• Interest in financial markets / the FX industry
• Willingness to engage in sales, communication, client service, and market outreach
• Strong learning ability, communication skills, and problem-solving capability
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients from different cultural backgrounds
• Experience in sales, trading, community operations, marketing, or business development is a plus (not required)
