Account Manager

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the team at Sorted Logistics on a 14-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of parental leave. Based in Māngere, Auckland, this full-time role will see you managing a portfolio of customers, driving account growth, and working closely with operational teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager - Commercial, you'll be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to retain, grow, and strengthen our customer partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of key customer accounts

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

Leading regular customer meetings and business reviews

Identifying opportunities for account growth and service improvements

Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

Working closely with transport, warehousing, customer service, Air and Ocean, and finance teams to ensure customer expectations are met

Monitoring customer performance and reporting on account activity

Maintaining accurate customer records and CRM data

Supporting contract renewals, pricing discussions, and customer retention initiatives

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll have

Previous experience in Account Management or a similar customer-facing role

Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

A commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using CRM systems

* Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, freight, or supply chain environments will be highly regarded
