Account Manager

We are a leading wholesaler of Granite & Marble, engineered stone, and porcelain products. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

We are looking to recruit two Account Managers to join our team. One position will cover parts of the Auckland region and the Bay of Plenty, while the other will cover parts of the Auckland region.

Both successful candidates must be willing to travel within their assigned territories from time to time to meet with customers, build relationships, and support business requirements.

Responsibilities

• building and fostering relationships with customers
• actively identify business opportunities with existing and new customers
• scheduling appointments, site visits and more
• providing after sales support to customers
• preparing quotes with the support of the Sales Manager
• analyse customer base and provide feedback to company
• self-motivated & energetic
• Meeting set targets and KPI's.
• must be reliable and always be on time
• friendly and customer focused
• able to help in the showroom with customer
• skills in telephone and face to face selling
• a valid Full NZ Driver’s License
• great negotiation skills
• analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of natural stone, engineered stone, and porcelain products will be an advantage, but is not essential.
• A strong willingness to learn and develop product knowledge is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the team.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support team members.
• Must be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
• Additional Requirements
• A background in kitchens, interior design, architecture, or a related industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Previous experience in sales or account management will be highly regarded.
• A valid reference may be required as part of the recruitment process.
