Acumen BI is a New Zealand-owned data and analytics consultancy with offices in Auckland and Wellington. We work alongside our clients’ teams to help them make better use of their data.

Acumen BI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account & Sales Support Executive to provide critical support across our sales and account management processes. This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating software renewals and licensing transactions, maintaining accurate sales data in our CRM (HubSpot), coordinating account management and supporting the preparation of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).

You’ll work collaboratively with the Acumen Leadership team to ensure sales activity runs smoothly, documents are accurate and timely, and key accounts receive consistent attention.

This role is ideal for someone who is hungry to learn, comfortable working at pace, and eager to grow their understanding of the full sales lifecycle. Over time, this role opens the door to future growth with scope to take on broader responsibilities in client engagement, opportunity qualification, and sales pipeline development.

What we’re looking for

We value a diverse range of experience, but the ideal candidate would possess:

Previous experience in professional services sales such as business development, inside sales, sales operations, sales coordination, account coordination or a related role.

Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot (certifications a bonus), and a strong ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.

A passion for Data, Analytics and AI and the ability to uncover and articulate the value this can bring to our clients.

A desire to grow your account management and sales skills and responsibilities over time.

Experience of cultivating relationships with influencers or decision makers is desirable but not essential.

Experience with representing an organisation at conferences / event booths.

Location

The role can be based in Auckland or Wellington. Our normal working pattern is one day a week in the office and four from home, although individual event, prospect, and customer engagements sometimes need something different.
