Supporting a service-based organization, the Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting activities, guide one direct report, and ensure accuracy in a high-volume transaction environment on a long-term contract basis, fully remote from Tampa, Florida.

##### Key responsibilities

Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule

Supervise and support a staff accountant, providing direction on daily accounting tasks and priorities

Manage general ledger activity, including reviewing entries and maintaining the integrity of financial records

##### Required qualifications

5+ years of accounting experience, including responsibility for month-end close and general ledger management

Prior experience in an Accounting Manager or senior-level accounting role with supervisory responsibility

Strong background in account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and financial statement production

Experience supporting financial statement audits and preparing audit-ready documentation

Hands-on experience with SouthWare Excellence Series is a must-have
