We are a long-established and growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm with a significant presence across Yorkshire.

The role

This is a key role within our Business Services Department, taking ownership of varied client work while supporting junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities include

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies
• Using Xero, IRIS and other accountancy software
• Reconciling control accounts and preparing management accounts
• Responding to client queries and keeping managers informed
• Supporting junior colleagues with technical queries
• Maintaining technical knowledge through CPD and webinars
• What you'll bring

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical and client-facing skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• Working arrangements

• 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Based at Heritage House, Murton Way, Osbaldwick, York YO19 5UW
