About Indie College:

Indie College supports young people to re-engage with education and training.

Our programs empower students to overcome personal barriers that have led to their disengagement from education. Indie College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing alternative, accredited courses at locations around Australia.

Core Workplace Objectives:

Provide assistance to the Lead Coach or Area Manager by supporting the key administrative tasks required by Indie College.

Ensure prioritisation of tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Work collaboratively and demonstrate a proactive approach and commitment to the Indie College program.

About the role - Key Responsibilities:

Provide administration support to the Lead Coach or Area Manager.

Data entry into Student Management System - aXcelerate (internal training provided), including processing student enrolments and issuing reports.

Administrative functions, e.g., student records, determinations and payments, a centralised enrolment function, manage and control stock, formal auditing of enrolment folders and student information folders and coursework (at own or other locations).

Stock control, ensuring sufficient supplies of all resources and equipment required by students for your location.

Mail inward and outward, straightforward data entry and retrieval, and the keeping, copying, maintaining and retrieval of records.

Initiate and handle correspondence, which may be confidential, to assist a Lead Coach or Area Manager.

Scan and file both student coursework and general office work.

Provide a full range of secretarial services.

About you:

Be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.

Be able to work as part of a strong team.

Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Have strong written and oral communication skills.

Have intermediate experience of the Microsoft suite and database knowledge.

Essential Requirements:

For this role, applicants must be willing and able to obtain:

Current Driver’s licence.

National Police Check (issued within 3 months prior to appointment) and renewed annually.

Relevant State Working with Children’s Check.

$71,031 per annum plus superannuation.
