Advanced Pharmacist - Women and Children
Job Description
Support the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Services in setting the strategic direction for the Clinical Pharmacy Service
Contribute to the development of the annual business plan and strategic planning for the Pharmacy Directorate
Implement Trust policies in relation to the Clinical Pharmacy Service
Continually review the quality and standard of service provision through consultation with users of the Clinical Pharmacy Service and makes recommendations for improvement to the Deputy Clinical
Director of Pharmacy
Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and records for the Clinical Pharmacy Service and medicines management
Assists Directorates and specialties in controlling drug expenditure
Ensure the appropriate stock control and storage of materials and safe maintenance of equipment used in the provision of the Clinical Pharmacy services
Complies with Trust policies relating to security and patient confidentiality and to ensure that procedures are undertaken within safe systems of work and legislation
Participates in weekend, public holiday, out of hours and extended hours provision of pharmacy services
