THE OPPORTUNITY

PYBAR is seeking motivated Underground Agi Operators to join our team at the Eloise and Jericho copper operations near Cloncurry, North Queensland.

With six years of established operations at Eloise and Jericho, you'll join an experienced team with opportunities to broaden your skills and build a long-term career.

Here's what we offer:

Roster: 15 days on / 13 days off and 14 nights on / 14 days off.

Employment: Permanent full-time position directly with PYBAR.

Location: Ideally suited to candidates based in Townsville, Mount Isa, Cloncurry and surrounding regions.

Camp: Quality accommodation with private ensuites, excellent meals, gym, Wi-Fi and wet mess.

Commute: Camp located just 1 minute from site.

Stability: Established six-year operation with approximately two years remaining on the current contract.

Career Growth: Ongoing training, equipment upskilling and opportunities to progress into shotcrete operations and other underground mining roles across PYBAR's national operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You'll be an important part of our underground team, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of concrete for ground support and infrastructure works.

Operating underground Agi trucks to transport and deliver concrete.

Coordinating concrete deliveries with Shotcrete Operators and underground crews.

Assisting with equipment setup, pack-up and general operational activities when required, with opportunities to gain exposure to shotcrete operations.

Completing equipment pre-starts, inspections and basic operator maintenance.

Maintaining high standards of safety, equipment care and teamwork.

Supporting efficient underground operations and meeting daily production requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Current Australian C Class manual driver's licence (essential).

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Commitment to safe work practices and working effectively within a team.

Previous underground mining, Agi truck or concrete delivery experience (highly regarded).

Working at Heights certification and Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (desirable).

Underground mining experience isn't essential. We're looking for reliable, motivated people who are willing to learn and contribute to a high-performing underground team.
