Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator

Our client, a well-established aluminium window and door manufacturer supplying residential homes, architectural projects and light commercial buildings across Auckland, is looking for an experienced Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator to join their factory team on Auckland’s North Shore.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with aluminium joinery experience who can confidently manufacture and assemble windows and doors, fit locks and hardware and work accurately from job sheets and drawings.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position, working within an experienced factory team.

Standard hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm, optional overtime may be available.

Your work will include

• Manufacturing and assembling aluminium windows and doors
• Building entrance doors and door panels
• Fitting and adjusting locks, hinges, handles and other hardware
• Reading job sheets, drawings, cutting lists and manufacturing instructions
• Checking dimensions, squareness, joints, seals, hardware operation and finish
• Identifying incorrect materials, defects or missing information before they cause delays
• Working with the Factory Manager and wider team to keep production moving
• There is a strong focus on quality, accuracy and getting the job right first time.
• What We’re Looking For

You will ideally have

Aluminium window and door fabrication experience, including entrance doors and hardware

The ability to read drawings and job instructions

Good measuring and practical fabrication skills

Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

The ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team

Ability to carry out the physical tasks of the role using safe handling practices

A clean, current driver licence

Experience with APL joinery systems would be an advantage.

A relevant BCITO or other joinery qualification would also be highly regarded.
