Ventia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electricians to join our team working on Transmission, Generation, and Heavy Industrial projects. About the role

As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll work as part of a supportive team while developing the technical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.

Your duties will include:

Assisting with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical equipment

Supporting work on substations, generation assets, and industrial electrical systems

Learning and applying safe work practices and industry standards

Participating in both practical on-site training and formal coursework

Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong focus on safety

About you

Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn

Strong communicators who enjoy working in a team environment

Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Committed to completing an apprenticeship programme

Safety-focused with a positive attitude

Hold a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (preferred)

No previous electrical experience is required, although any trade, mechanical, or technical experience will be advantageous.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview, complete a basic Maths and English assessment, and take part in a practical hands-on activity. We're looking for potential, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, not prior electrical experience
