This is your opportunity to combine technical expertise, strategic asset management, and environmental stewardship to help safeguard Marlborough's communities, economy, and natural environment for generations to come. Performance monitoring — Oversee asset condition, data quality, and service‑level reporting.

Flood and river management — Support flood management planning, emergency response frameworks, and compliance with engineering and statutory requirements.

Programme and financial input — Prioritise maintenance and renewal programmes and contribute to capital and operational budgeting.

Technical leadership — Provide expert river engineering advice, prepare technical reports, and support investigations, valuations, and scheme reviews.

Stakeholder engagement — Work with iwi, landowners, community groups, and external agencies, communicating technical information clearly.

Risk and compliance — Maintain risk registers and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and audit processes.
