Safeguarding and safer recruitment
In Toto Ed is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The postholder will have regular unsupervised contact with students, and the role is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS certificate with a children's barred list check, satisfactory references, verification of identity, right to work and qualifications, and a check of employment history and any gaps.
