As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and helping to drive a team of IM&W specialists in delivering our most challenging projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success and driving business growth.

As an Associate Director, you will have responsibility to

• Lead a team on providing strategic advice to UK Wealth Managers, establishing clear priorities and direction in conjunction with the client.
• Provide guidance on Wealth technology and collaborate with internal teams and clients to establish technology strategy and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead technology-enabled transformation programmes and projects with expertise (i.e. examples of roles our current managers have delivered across wealth technologies include but not limited to the overseeing the delivery of a new platform, the delivery of a new contact centre, rollout of new digital front ends for customer and advisers, and the upgrade of a client Datawarehouse and associated reporting)
• Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integrations and change and go-live.
• Lead diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes to quality and timescales.
• Understand the industry vendor landscape and support the firm’s market presence with key vendors.
• Utilise experience with transformation projects to support complex transformation agendas and roadmaps with clients.
• Build effective client relationships with peer-level stakeholders across all business and technical domains including IT, Operations and Risk.
• Support the definition and implementation of accelerators and standards and promoting adherence to these standards within internal and external programmes and projects.
• Participate fully within Deloitte to assist the growth of the practice and the Operations & Industry Domain Solutions division including supporting the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

• Direct experience of the UK wealth management market either through a consulting or industry role.
• Experience in understanding and successfully managing vendor relationships and delivering results in a multi-vendor environment within the UK Wealth Management Market.
• Experience in advising on strategic direction for UK Wealth Management clients. Supporting them in building their priorities and delivering to key stakeholders.
• Understanding of the UK wealth management market and the propositions offered
• Been a key part of wealth platform transformation projects and demonstrated ability to support in a team of technology and business advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing.
• Supported delivery teams to successful project outcomes by managing and monitoring progress, mitigating risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Advise clients and stakeholders by communicating complex information clearly, building relationships, and providing industry thought leadership.
• Been part of projects which involved analysing financial data, identifying opportunities, negotiating effectively, managing budgets and resources, and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
• Ensured delivery standards are followed and deviations from any defined standards are properly addressed and communicated.
• Experience in delivering through various ways of working, including waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Appreciation of emerging technology and trends in wealth management
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within a wider complex digital transformation programme.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
