Assurance Learning and Development Senior Associate (Contract)
Job Description

You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy. As an Assurance Learning & Development Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will report directly to Assurance Learning & Development Managers and Senior Managers.

- Support Learning & Development processes using HC systems such as Cornerstone, SharePoint, Power BI Dashboards, Talent Link, Workday, and Metrics that Matter.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects and courses.
- Drive the development and execution of project plans, including drafting communications and coordinating translations.
- Proactively coordinate national planning, scheduling, and reporting of multiple mandatory courses across Canada using centralized processes.
- Ensure sessions are scheduled, participants and instructors are identified and notified, training spaces are booked, and session information is accurately tracked.
- Generate reports from multiple systems and troubleshoot reporting dashboard environments.
- Support end users on new reports and dashboards to facilitate learning initiatives.
- Review and process invoices for external training venues, ensuring costs align with budget and recommending cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the L&D Digital and Operations Team on reporting, budgets, and various projects.
- Work with the L&D Digital and Operations team to ensure a consistent approach to ad hoc business requests, driving efficiencies and best practices.

- In-depth knowledge of curriculum set up, preferably in Cornerstone
- Experience in a corporate environment supporting a multi-functional team
- Proficiency working with business intelligence software (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) and other firm tools and technologies (MS Office). Excellent ability to work in Excel required
- Relationship building skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels in a professional and competent manner
- Project management and coordination skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/competing tasks, adapt to changing demands and work towards tight deadlines
- Demonstrate exceptional diligence (in managing/analyzing significant volumes of course, participant and instructor data)
- A basic understanding of the strategy and priorities of the business and how they translate into learning priorities
- Ability to use logic, creativity and innovation when developing solutions to problems, considering their potential impact
- Initiative-taker, collaborator and demonstrated ability to apply good judgment and make recommendations to situations requiring interpretation
- Ability to identify efficiencies and improve processes with a focus on continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices.
- This is a 18-month full-time contract opportunity

The salary range for this position is $60,600 - $100,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
