The role

As the Auto Electrical Foreman, you’ll combine hands-on technical work with workshop leadership. One day you could be diagnosing faults on modern agriculture equipment, the next supporting your team with complex installations, coordinating workflow, or travelling to support customers on-site.

You’ll be involved in

Leading and supporting a team of Auto Electrical Technicians and apprentices

Managing workflow and day-to-day workshop operations

Auto electrical diagnostics, repairs, and installations

Agricultural and commercial machinery work

Workshop-based and field service projects

Supporting customers throughout South Canterbury and beyond

Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service

We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys leading a team and is committed to delivering quality outcomes for customers.

A qualification in Auto Electrical Engineering

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician

Leadership or supervisory experience with a passion for mentoring apprentices and developing your team

Experience with ARB accessories and installations would be an advantage

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

A willingness to learn and take on new challenges

* A full driver’s licence
