Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Automotive Technician to join our busy workshop team.

Working within our modern Volkswagen service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing vehicles to Volkswagen manufacturer standards. Reporting directly to the Workshop Controller and Service Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• General servicing and maintenance of Volkswagen vehicles
• Identifying and repairing mechanical and technical faults
• Performing advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Identifying and recommending additional repair work where required
• Completing all repairs in accordance with Volkswagen factory guidelines
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframes
• Conducting quality control checks on completed repairs
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Participating in Volkswagen factory training and development programs

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of workshop experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Reliable, punctual and professional presentation
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality outcomes
• Full Australian working rights
