Bar Staff Porter

Our client, a vibrant establishment in Newport, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Bar Staff and a Porter. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Must be fully flexible with days, evenings and weekends as required.Responsibilities:Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, and maintain accountability for all transactions.Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area, including equipment, glasses, and workstations, in accordance with health and safety standards.Stock Management: Monitor and replenish bar stock, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies, to ensure uninterrupted service.Upselling and Promotion: Promote special offers, events, and promotions to customers, and actively engage in upselling to enhance the customer experience.Compliance: Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.Organising rooms and setting tables ready for customers.Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for hospitality.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as a team.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Attention to detail and a high level of professionalismMust be fully flexible with working hours and daysThis is a temporary positionIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a desire to provide exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
