MCS Group are proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in their search for a Procurement Officer.

### The Role:

\ Manage tendering processes, ensuring compliance with relevant procurement regulations and policies.

\ Develop tender documentation, coordinate evaluation panels and prepare contract award documentation.

\ Conduct price evaluations, market research and data analysis to support value for money.

\ Support contract extensions, negotiations, supplier management and post-award activities.

\ Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

\ Manage tenders and contract information using electronic procurement and contract management systems.

\ Build strong stakeholder relationships and support Category Managers across a range of procurement activities.

### The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience

Essential:

\ 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, at Grade C or above.

\ Either 3 A Levels with office/customer-facing experience, or a third-level qualification with relevant experience.

\ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, including data analysis and manipulation.

\ Willingness to study towards a CIPS qualification.
