Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers and Home Carers to join our vibrant team, providing essential support to individuals in their homes and care facilities. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines to ensure safety and adherence
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, encouraging healthy eating habits
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics and equipment when necessary
Document care activities accurately in client records, ensuring clear communication among team members
Requirements
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for client transfers or mobility assistance
Valid driving license and access to reliable transportation for travel between client locations
Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively and provide compassionate caregiving
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight hours
Experience in care, support work, or a similar people‑focused role (paid or voluntary)
Ability to deliver compassionate, person‑centred care
Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
Ability to travel independently between service users’ homes
Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and duty of care
Ability to maintain accurate written and digital records
Reliability, punctuality and commitment to high‑quality care
