Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide day-to-day support to our residents, assisting them with personal care and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.

You will work as part of a supportive care team under the guidance of nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care.

Ngā Responsibilities Matua | Key Responsibilities

•         Provide personal care assistance (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)

•         Support residents with meals and hydration

•         Assist with mobility and daily activities

•         Observe and report any changes in residents’ wellbeing

•         Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

•         Work collaboratively with nurses and other care staff

•         Support residents with kindness, patience, and respect

Mōu | About You

•         A caring and compassionate nature

•         Strong teamwork and communication skills

•         Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn

•         Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not essential

•         Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings

•         Is Level 4 qualified
