Caregiver - Nightshift - Special Care Unit

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Richard Hadlee Retirement Village, Belfast, Christchurch as a Caregiver. There are two Fulltime, Permanent positions available in our Special Care Unit working either:

+ Tuesday - Saturday  2300-0700

+ Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 2300-0700 (Med Comp)

In this role you will

Oversee residents providing activities to engage them

Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for your own mum, dad, nana or poppa

Engage with our residents and developing lasting relationships with them and their families

Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman

Take time to learn about each and every resident, their background, what's makes them happy to help them enjoy life to the fullest

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

Dementia care experience

Med Comp is preferred but not essential

Kindness in your DNA

Have expeience with dementia

Strong empathy

Outstanding communication skills

A reliable, friendly and professional style
