This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special from the very beginning, where you’ll help deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Prebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc
• You’ll need to be available for three weeks of paid, onsite training from 18 January to 5 February 2027, running Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, ahead of the Care Centre’s official opening.
• This is a part-time position working 7:00am – 3:00pm on a 3 days on, 3 days off rotating roster, with 22.5 to 30 hours per week.

• You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you

Minimum of 3 years experience in an aged care or similar setting

A Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent)

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships

Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts

Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
