As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive range of repair, maintenance and installation work across a variety of buildings. Your work will include areas such as doors, studwork, roofing, first and second fix carpentry, kitchens and flooring, helping to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

You will be responsible for assessing work requirements, interpreting job instructions and selecting the most appropriate methods, materials and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and to specification. This includes planning and organising your work, setting up work areas and carrying out site-specific risk assessments to ensure all activities are undertaken safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements. Working closely with colleagues and other trades, you will help coordinate activities on site to deliver an efficient, customer-focused and cost-effective service. Using your practical knowledge and problem-solving skills, you will identify and implement effective solutions to any challenges that arise, adapting working methods and materials where appropriate.

You will regularly engage with tenants, building managers and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the delivery of works. In addition, you will be responsible for the safe use and maintenance of tools, plant and equipment, promptly reporting any defects or issues to ensure a safe working environment.
