An exciting opportunity for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our elite Facilities and Services team in helping maintain a clean and safe environment on our Newton Park Campus

### **Key Responsibilities**

• To clean the University premises to a required standard, including cleaning all floors by sweeping, wet and damp mopping and vacuuming.
• Cleaning toilets and bathrooms and surrounding areas.
• Cleaning and damp wiping of all furniture and fitments, including equipment in self-catering kitchens.
• Emptying designated waste bins.
• Cleaning of stairways, entrances and internal glass.
• To carry out heavy, deep cleaning tasks and special projects. To carry out training as identified.
• To actively support equality and diversity of the University.
• To comply with COSHH/Health and Safety regulations.
• To report any maintenance issues.
• To carry out any other duties within the scope and grade of the post.

### **Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**

• Knowledge of cleaning products
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, in particular COSHH
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
