Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Chef to join the kitchen team at a well-established golf club in Cwmbran.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and professional hospitality team, preparing high-quality meals for members, guests, and visitors. The kitchen caters for day-to-day dining as well as golf events, private functions, and special occasions, so no two days are the same.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with menu specifications.Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials.Managing food preparation and service during busy periods.Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.Ensuring correct food storage, stock rotation, and waste control.Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.Adhering to all food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer service.Supporting with the preparation of functions, events, and golf days.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience working as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Cook in a busy kitchen.A passion for producing high-quality food.Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.Good organisational and time management skills.Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety legislation.A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.Flexibility to work regular weekends is essential, as the golf club hosts weddings, functions, and events throughout the year.
