The Role

As a Chef de Partie at Rutherford Hotel Nelson, you’ll play a key role in our culinary team, preparing high-quality dishes, supporting innovation, and ensuring consistency in every plate we serve. You’ll work alongside talented chefs in a professional and supportive kitchen environment.

Skills & Attributes

• At least 2 years relevant experience as a Chef de Partie.
• A desire to learn and develop your career as a Chef.
• A professional approach to culinary excellence, with a focus on quality and creativity.
• The ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks.
• A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
• Honest, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• The ability to prepare and produce food according to the Head Chef’s instruction, while contributing ideas to drive quality and innovation.
• Flexibility to work a mixture of day and evening shifts, including weekends.
