Chef De Partie

About the role

As our Chef de Partie, you will play a key part in preparing and presenting food to the highest standard. You will work closely with the kitchen and Clubhouse teams to keep service running smoothly, and you will take pride in a kitchen that is safe, well organised and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard

Working alongside the kitchen and Clubhouse teams to deliver a smooth, consistent service

Keeping all areas of the kitchen clean, tidy and well presented

Managing food rotation and making sure all products are correctly dated and stored

Upholding food safety standards across the kitchen

Following allergy procedures and making sure the team has accurate menu and allergy information

Identifying safety hazards and reporting any accidents or incidents

Supporting the Executive and Head Chefs across all areas of the kitchen as needed

About you

Previous experience in a similar role within a busy commercial kitchen

A sound understanding of food safety practices and allergy management

A high standard of presentation and attention to detail

A strong team focus and a willingness to help wherever needed

A positive attitude and the ability to stay organised under pressure

Good communication skills

Details:

3 month fixed term contract 1st November - 31st January

Possibility to extend

$32-36 per hour

* Minimum 24 hours per week

It began as a few par three holes in the Hill family's garden and has grown into an 18-hole course with a clubhouse, a strong membership and a collection of large-scale outdoor sculptures.
