About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative chef de Partie to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Sauce, Grill, or Pastry).

Key Responsibilities:

•        Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your section.

•        Manage daily stock levels and orders for your station.

•        Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) are maintained at all times.

•        Collaborate with the Sous/Head Chef to develop new menu items.

•        Mentor and supervise junior Commis Chefs or kitchen hands.

Requirements:

•        Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar, fast-paced, high-volume environment.

•        A strong passion for food and creativity.

•        Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.

•        Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

•        Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., Level 4/5 Certificate in Cookery)

•        Work full time hours, minimum 30 hours per week.

•        The Rivers is open 11am – 10pm, 7 days a week – you will work on a rotating roster (morning & evening shifts)
