The Wicklow Heather Restaurant, located in the beautiful surroundings of Laragh, Co. Wicklow, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Chef de Partie to join our passionate and dedicated kitchen team.

Accommodation can be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates who are willing to relocate to this stunning location.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of our busy kitchen.
• Maintain consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation and service.
• Support and train junior kitchen staff in food production, kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.
• Contribute creative ideas and help develop new and innovative menus.
• Assist with ordering, purchasing and stock control to help achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively within the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Requirements

• Ideally, a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie or senior kitchen role.
• A passion for cooking and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
• A Level 2 Food Safety certificate or equivalent qualification; training can be provided if required.
• The ability to work efficiently and remain organised in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude, initiative and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Availability to work 39 hours per week.

Location and Relocation

As we are based in Laragh, Co. Wicklow, applicants must be able to commute to the restaurant or be willing to relocate. Accommodation may be available to assist with relocation.
